Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang
Meet our guide and driver at your address then departure for Ha Giang. On the way we’ll make a stop at Tuyen Quang for lunch.
We continue our drive deeper into Ha Giang, enjoying the spectacular scenery along the way, before finally reaching the Tay village for a walk with a peaceful beauty with rustic stilt houses on rice fields and green palm hills.
Have dinner and overnight in Ha Giang.

Day 2: Ha Giang – Dong Van
After breakfast, you will begin the journey to Dong Van following a spectacular series of passes which wind through the mountains and valleys. En route you enjoy exceptional views of the rolling landscape and interesting flora and fauna.
After that, we will have Lunch in the small mountain town of Tam Son visiting the villages of the H’mong Lung Cam.
You will have the chance to see the former palace of the H’mong King, Vuong Chinh Duc who was an ally of the French and Lung Cu Flag Pole – the symbol of national sovereignty in Ha Giang.
You will arrive in Dong Van around 18:00 where you will have dinner at a local restaurant and spend the night in a hotel.

Day 3: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Cao Bang
You’ll start the day off with breakfast and a visit to the Dong Van Market, where locals come from all the surrounding villages to purchase and trade for essentials they cannot produce themselves.
Then leave for Ma Pi Leng Pass – the most beautiful pass in Ha Giang and the highlight on this trip – before descending into the valley of Meo Vac. Winding our way through the valley, we’ll eventually reach Bao Lac village, where we’ll rest for a bit and have lunch before being driven to Cao Bang where you’ll spend the night in a hotel.
Have dinner and overnight in Cao Bang.

Day 4: Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Hanoi
After breakfast, we leave Cao Bang for Ban Gioc Waterfall.
First, you will venture deep underground into the magical Nguom Ngao Cave to discover the rock formations which have been carved by erosion over millennia.
Then you will visit Ban Gioc Waterfall where you can spend your time relaxing in the glow of the natural beauty, take some amazing photos, and board a bamboo boat that will take you so close to the falls you’ll feel the spray on your face, practically sitting at the very edge of Vietnam, so close to China that you can actually touch it.
Have lunch at local restaurant then head to Hanoi.
Arrive Hanoi in late afternoon. Drop off at your address. End trip.

What CAN be Refunded:
Some tours may require a minimum number of travelers to operate. The affected traveler will be fully refunded or may choose a similar tour product as a substitute. Should this occur, it would be under very rare circumstances.
Please note that the product substitute chosen by the traveler may be more expensive than the original product and therefore may be subject to an additional cost.
Any additional refunds based on extenuating circumstances will depend on the individual tour operator.

What CANNOT be Refunded:
All hotel and tour schedules are arranged ahead of time. Any person failing to appear on the day of departure will not be refunded.
No refund will be given for any portions of the tour unused by the traveler after tour departure regardless of circumstances.
Airfare is completely non-refundable and non-changeable for tours when airfare is included in the final price.
Hotel extensions and Instant Confirmation products (admission tickets, city passes, etc.) cannot be exchanged or refunded once confirmed.

30 or More Days – 100% of total purchase amount can be refunded (Deduct Domestic Airfare as it is completely non-refundable)
16 – 29 Days Prior to Departure Date – 75% of total purchase amount can be refunded (Deduct Domestic Airfare as it is completely non-refundable)
07 – 15 Days Prior to Departure Date – 50% of total purchase amount can be refunded (Deduct Domestic Airfare as it is completely non-refundable)
0 – 06 Days Prior to Departure Date – Non-refundable

If a tour is scheduled to depart within the next 6 days, we will not change a traveler’s departure date and will not offer a refund.
All cancellations must be made directly with Old Quarter Travel.
In most cases, reservations paid by wire transfer, cash deposit, or money order/traveler’s check/cashier’s check will be refunded via Bank. FOR REFUNDS PROCESSED BY BANK WITH ANY ASSOCIATED FEE WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE OVERALL REFUND AMOUNT.
