This tour will take you from the vast lakes and chalky karsts of Ba Be National Park to the wild and rugged landscapes of Cao Bang to visit the spectacular Ban Gioc waterfall. You will be travelling through remote areas in Northern Vietnam, brushing along the Chinese border to learn about and experience the unique cultures and customs of rural Vietnam.

Ban Gioc Waterfall – Ba Be Lake 3 days 2 nights

Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake – Swimming – Kayaking (L/D)

Pick up from hotel in Hanoi to Ba Be National Park.

Arrive Pac Ngoi village. Check in and have lunch at homestay.

Take a walk to boat station (1km).

Take boat trip around the lake to Fairy Pond, An Ma temple.

Swimming and Kayaking in the lake – the most special activities in Ba Be Lake.

Hiking back to the homestay and have dinner here.

Overnight at homestay of Tay people.

Day 2: Day 2: Ba Be Lake – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Nguom Ngao Cave – Cao Bang (B/L/D)

Have breakfast and departure for Cao Bang.

Lunch in a local restaurant in Quang Uyen town.

Visit to the Ban Gioc Waterfall, the 4th largest waterfall along a national border.

Visit to the Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger cave).

Return to Cao Bang city.

Have dinner and overnight at hotel in Cao Bang city.

Day 3: Day 3: Cao Bang – Hanoi (B/L)

Visit Pac Bo Historical Site:

Check-out, have breakfast and start to visit Pac Bo Cave *, where President Ho Chi Minh came back to Vietnam after 30 years abroad. Visit to Pac Bo Cave, Lenin river, Karl Marx mountain, stone table.

Have lunch in a local restaurant on the way to come back to Ha Noi.

Arrival in Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel. Tour ends.
